It is so fun after many accessory visits to see a brides Bridal Style Vision come to life and be featured in the pages of Wedluxe Magazine! Carrie had already chosen a beautiful Romona Kaveza Gown with clean lines and gorgeous sparkling belt so as soon as we saw the photos she brought we knew we had the perfect earrings to go with! Voila! The Kara Earrings!

A bridal belt is kind of what we like to call a "Necklace for the waist" so opting for a bit of a longer earring to go with it eliminates the need for a necklace and creates an overall balanced look!

This is such sweet moment of her sister helping her put the jewels on, especially because we also did her sisters wedding jewellery about seven years ago! 

If you are wondering why all her girls look so fabulous...it is not just because her other sister owns a fabulous beauty parlor called The Glamoury that we have blogged about before!

...it's because they got it from their mama! No boring Mother of The Bride outfits here! We love this sparkly ensemble complete with our Three Marquise Post Earrings and darling Hair Pins from Jeweliette Jewellery!

The Gold Theme was carried out through the event from the bridesmaids earrings ...

What an honor it was to be included in a follow up to our Fabulous Friends Creating Beautiful Business feature in the print issue of I Like Her Style Vancouver with Best Reds With Great Friends along side Jasmine Hoffman and Stephanie Lewis.

This feature was all about Red Wine and Red Lips! As Jasmine knows, we never wear a red lip however she assured us that she had the perfect red in her kit just for us! Exciting! Apparently, everyone has a perfect shade depending on their complexion and undertone.

Ours was Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in "Beso", a beautiful true red that looks great with any skin tone. Well, if it didn't have us channeling our inner Gwen Stefani!

Fabulous Friends Creating Beautiful Business on www.ilikeherstyle.com {Part 1}

Congratulations to our friends at I Like Her Style Vancouver who just launched their first print issue today! In celebration of that, we are sharing a recent editorial they showcased featuring US called Fabulous Friends Creating Beautiful Businesses. Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

When Jasmine Hoffman called us up to do the shoot, we agreed and thought as usual we would just drop the jewels off to the location and be on our way. However, just days before in our group text we received a message asking us to arrive with hair and makeup done. Wait, what! I was going to be in the shoot? Well, I could not think of a better way to spend the afternoon than with these dolls!

By now, if you have been following the blog and our Instagram you will recognize Jasmine Hoffman. I am often spotted at her place getting my makeup done, doing photoshoots, and going to events or up to general shenanigans with her.

The beautiful brushes that are often spotted in her hands are the lovely creation of Stephanie Lewis aka Miss Glam. Stephanie is a YouTube Queen, Beauty Mogul and every bit as sweet as her pretty pink princess online personality!

We feel so lucky to have a Girl Squad that also does double duty as a Glam Squad!

Porcelain Blue As Seen In Wedluxe

When Shing Weddings contacted us to be a part of their Porcelain Blue Style File submission for Wedluxe Magazine we were immediately inspired to create something with color!

Drawing upon the iconic Cobalt and White combination, we put our Sapphire, White Opal and Chalk White Swarovski Crystals to work!

The shape of our signature marquise style also lent itself perfectly to the feathered motif. This set is now available by special order in our Online Shop and can be customized in other color combinations. Don't you think it is the perfect Something Blue addition to your wedding day style? 

Also featured were our Stephanie Studs with a White Opal Cushion Cut Swarovski Crystal center. Statement studs are a great choice for your wedding day earrings or anytime really! The White Opal is a nice touch too with its milky glow. Take Us To Sweden!

Our jewels are certainly living the glamorous life these days! First Paris, then Hawaii and now Sweden! This styled shoot was shot on location by Denise Lin Photography in Gotland, Sweden's largest and most charming island affectionately nicknamed the "Pearl of the Baltic". An island with a jewelry comparison? Obviously, we love it!

A custom backless gown from Little Pink Dress styled with a relaxed beauty look captures a medieval meets modern bridal style that feels right at home against a background of architectural delights. Turrets, castles and cobble stone streets alongside the natural beauty of a sandy shoreline give this destination an olde world charm that storybooks are made of. 

And, of course, our jewels from Jeweliette Jewellery were there for just the right about of sparkle! Shown on the right, is a one-of-a-kind couture earring we designed featuring a rare color of Swarovski Crystal called "Stormy Crystal" paired with Cyclamen Opal and on the left our small version of The Vine Comb.
